安野谷昌穂×AJI PROJECT×CENTERによるオープニングトークのほか、焼鳥”呑喜”によるおばんざいでアートと食を共に楽しめる夜。作家在廊にて21時までお待ちしています。

安野谷昌穂の個展『DEMO Future Book TOUR with AJI PROJECT at CENTER SANUKI』を新作アートブックのローンチに合わせて開催します。
本展ではアートブックの原画を含む作品の展示販売に加え、かねてより作家が強く惹かれていたという、高松市庵治町・牟礼町で産出される“庵治石”を用いた作品も展開。石という素材に新たな役割や意味を与えるブランド“AJI PROJECT”協力のもと、今年3月より現地視察や打ち合わせを経て、高い技術を持つ職人の手によって作品およびプレートの制作が実現しました。この庵治石での制作を含め、これまでのCENTERと作家との関わり・取り組みの軌跡とも言える作品の画像や文字を束ねたZINEも制作しています。
展示初日からの3日間は作家在廊にて、オープニングレセプションおよびドローイングセッションを行います。作家が得意とする即興的に織り成されるドローイングや、そこで生まれる対話をぜひこの機会にお楽しみください。
Masaho Anotani’s solo exhibition “DEMO Future Book TOUR with AJI PROJECT at CENTER SANUKI” will be held in conjunction with the launch of his new art book.
In addition to exhibiting and selling artwork including original drawings from the art book, the exhibition will also feature works using “Aji Stone” produced in Aji and Mure Towns in Takamatsu City, which the artist has been strongly attracted to for a long time. With the cooperation of AJI PROJECT, a brand that gives new roles and meanings to stone as a material, new artworks and plates were created by highly skilled craftsmen after a site visit and meeting by the artist himself in March this year. Including this work with Aji stone, we are also producing a zine with images and text of the works that can be said to be the trajectory of CENTER’s relationship and efforts with the artist up to now.
The opening reception and drawing session will be held on the first three days of the exhibition with the artist present. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the improvisational drawings that the artist specializes in and the dialogues that will be created during these sessions.

※一般的な油性のマーカーで施します。大抵のものはドローイングが可能です。アイテムによってはインクが乗らないと判断する場合がございますのでご了承ください。

［作家プロフィール］
安野谷昌穂｜Masaho Anotani
1991年兵庫県生まれ。 国内外での個展やグループ展に参加。日本を拠点に活動中。幼少期から現在に至るまで自然の中で多くの時間を過ごし、その中で得た観察や感覚に強く影響を受けながら、絵画、ドローイング、コラージュ、パフォーマンス、写真などを使った作品を発表する。コラボレーションワークとしてZUCCa（2015-16 A/W）やCOMME des GARCONS SHIRT（2016-17 A/W）などがある。2016年にアートブック「STEIDL – WERK No. 23: MASAHO ANOTANI “DEFORMED”」が発表された。
